The Account Executive will be responsible for creating and driving new business through smart prospecting and networking. The role will be responsible for developing a strategic territory plan, executing against it through effective pipeline management and meeting/exceeding a quarterly sales quota.
- BS/BA degree with 2-4 years of experience in Sales
- Experience with web-based software as a service (SaaS) applications or related
- Prior experience selling directly to C-level executives
- Proven track record of consistent goal/quota attainment
- Demonstrated understanding of sales planning, sales strategy development and pipeline management
- Previous formal sales training is a plus
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills - strong phone skills are required
- Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce.com or related CRM applications
